718S
I've borrowed a 718s a couple of times. The car is wickedly quick, and a little more refined than the already great 981. But the car has definately lost some of its soul. If you have never driven the Flat 6, it probably won't matter, but those who have, and are looking for an all in sports car will ...

Regenerate Particulate Filter
A friend has an A7 that has been. PITA with this problem. Same basic engine!
I think it's a lottery if the engine is good or a dud like yours and his.

1st service
I heard at least one member on here saying how Porsche wanted over £100 for an Adblue top up.
I had an email a few days ago from Porsche quoting a fixed charge of about £47 regardless of how much Adblue was required!
Just do it youself - it really is not rocket science.

Can you afford your car?
Depends upon the car.
In the past, I have lost more money on a car by buying it, than I would have leasing or finacing some other way with a guaranteed outlay.
Also by not buyng the car outright, leaves you with additional capital to invest for a return

I'd just stick with the standard tailpipes. I think they look better than any other option. Shame I can't get them on my Turbo PP. :(

Top Gear MKIII
I must be in the minority, but I've found the whole series quite watchable and enjoyable, and have enjoyed it more than TGT on amazon. It makes a nice end to the weekend. Glass of red, kids in bed, and relax on the sofa with the wife for some light hearted blokes dicking about.Leblanc and Harris seem...

911/Boxster vs Macan GTS
I know your thinking, if I could only have the 1 it would be the Boxster as it really is a brilliant car. I have test driven regular 911's and latest 911.2 but I would describe them as being gentlemanly, super fast but bland to me they dont give you that sports car feeling.I have never driven a GT3...

Just wondering if most forum goers would recommend detailing a new car. Dont know much about it apart from i had a supaguard treatment (done by dealer) on my last car and not sure it was worth a monkey if anything at all.Lots talk gteching? As you are working on a limited budget I would say don't bo...
