Re: One year with my Macan S

Glad you are enjoying the S, thanks for posting the detail. I too bought a ready configured Macan, but mine was the showroom car. Two things that I found missing on that Macan were ACC and surround cam, although it did have revcam.. As I live in the North West where to go most places we use the Moto...

Re: Alloy Wheel Insurance

In 8 years of Macan ownership, Zero kerb damage to my Spyders.

Keep the cash and pay for refurb as and when.

A DIY Getechniq wheel armour coating would cost c£100 in materials and make cleaning easier. Kit + 15ml second bottle of wheel armour + pack of clay + quick detailer lubricant for the clay

Re: Macan: swap my Gen Three 20” wheels for 18”?

Buying a set of Winter wheels and tyres would be a better option.

They do come up on here for sale from time to time.

Re: Macan: swap my Gen Three 20” wheels for 18”?

If most of my driving was in the Winter with Snow then I would certainly not have All Seasons on the car, Winters yes.

Quality car yet fourth world organisation.

Re: Goodbye Macan hello RR

What I cannot fathom is why RRS and not a Cayenne.

An e Hybrid £91k, in which I would rather munch the miles than in any RR or even a Macan for that matter.

Re: Macan turbo

An OPC will want to charge an arm and a leg just to check and clear out the Pano roof drains. This task is four wheels off, remove the wheel arch cover panels, check and clear drains and reverse the tasks listed. The rear drains are visible without removing the wheels or the arch liners. I must vis...

Re: Macan turbo

Not a bad looking spec.

Take the VIN number to an OPC and get them to printout the actual As Built specification, it is easy to miss certain options.

Re: Goodbye Macan hello RR

My boss had a RR Sport for 7 years with zero issues.

It was very comfortable, had a good ride and was a real easy going mile muncher.

If anything it was much better for that kind of activity than a Macan.
