Re: Things you wish you didn't spec
I take it that your button therapy courses have not worked out well then Dave! Haha - not quite Col + sad to see you can’t have the new haptic jobs lit up if you don’t have the feature! We know you will not be happy until the interior looks like the Starship Enterprise Haha - only button wise Col a...

Re: Redex Adblu refilling problem
When my warning light comes on I just pop in 3.5L bought from Sainsburys - small/light can, easy to use (has own tube etc), no chance of spillage because can’t get all can in, turns light off & enough to give me over 5k miles. Plus, plenty of room for OPC to do a bigger top up for me foc at next...

Re: Things you wish you didn't spec
As I said in a previous post - I’m still needing therapy for a last minute addition of the headlamp wash feature on my SD approx 5 yrs, 5 months, 20 days & 2 hrs ago! Cost me just over £100 which was a lot of money for a stingy Yorkshireman in those days! Used it twice - not out of necessity but...

Re: Failed lower trailing arm bushes
Wear and tear is tyres and brake pads, everything else should be covered by the warranty Hi Col - the standard Porsche response I got to that was the warranty only covers “wear & tear defects” to parts or systems that become apparent through normal use before an expected minimum usage time! App...

Re: Failed lower trailing arm bushes
The bushes on my SD were in a bad state at approx 50k miles (worn/split etc) so had them changed by OPC. Sadly you can’t just have the bushes replaced (according to Porsche) as they come complete with the trailing arms so they need fitting as one unit! Think I paid about £700 from memory (approx hal...

Re: Warranty extension 5+ - to do or not to do?
I’d definitely get the warranty from Porsche + up to you if one or two years depending on best guess when new GTS comes. Breakdown cover might be cheaper elsewhere but I was happy to also get that from Porsche when I extended the warranty on my 5 yr old SD last Sept as all could be sorted by my OPC ...

Re: May need to upsize, thinking this Cayenne will do fine
I'd sell the dogs (can get a good price for them these days), strap kid(s) in a cage in boot (pic below of one I used), let them walk/crawl when get to destination (so no need for buggy) + then just enjoy your GTS
