Re: GAP Insurance
Can recommend ALA GAP insurance, had it for all car purchases in our family over last 10-12 years as very keenly priced esp with discounts of 10-20% regularly available. My son made a claim on his policy four years ago and they paid out in full within two weeks. +1 for Ala, all 4 cars in our househ...

Re: Macan S Spec - First Porsche!
Whilst I agree with the logic of a GTS, I can see two issues. His dealer might not have a GTS build slot left for delivery in 2020 running the Boris no deal risk. Is not the advice to keep a GTS looking like a GTS. Personnaly I hate black spiders (the wheels that is) and that might stop me going do...

Re: Macan S Spec - First Porsche!
Hi All, Been lurking on here for a while and decided to take the plunge and order a Macan S! It's my first post but just wanted to share my build and reasoning behind it: http://www.porsche-code.com/PLZBCDL0 So I've gone for an S as it's my first Porsche and don't want to be disappointed by the 2.0...

Re: Gen II Random disappearing Sat Nav Favs
Yes, I have the app too, doesn't work without I don't think. Whilst the face-lift model has a bigger screen, I think the underlying tech is pretty much the same - certainly aren't any other new apps - but obviously it rund on new software so it could be a bit buggy. I know ours isn't perfect, but i...

Re: Facelift Macan
I suppose it was inevitable, but it’s a shame to see most buttons replaced by touchscreens and touch-sensitive controls under shiny black plastic. :( I had this for a year in my 2017 Panamera 4, but I prefer the traditional & tactile buttons in my Macan and 911s. The new screen looks cool and i...

Re: Help Please
How does that work with a collapsable spare wheel then? Or is that part of the max 50mph and mileage limit? The collapsible wheel is smaller, but the profile makes up for the difference. I assume the OP was looking at a smaller wheel with a higher profile tyre to match the diameter of his 21" ...

Re: Goodbye SLK Hello GTS
Looking forward to our 4-door GTS. Spec is my user name :geek: chosen with ideas from this Forum. Build starts 25/9 delivery by end October. To replace our 2-door SLK, once someone buys it ;) Bold (brave) colour choice 8-) . I posted on another thread that I had seen a Gen II in the flesh and I was...

Re: Change colour - to Sapphire Blue?
GTS has to be a non-corporate so not: Midnight blue, greys, B&W, silvers. That leaves Sapphire - "Classy not flashy" is a perfect description (Tracky). Oh and there is the green or Mahogany brown,,, You then have the solid "specials" at a £1.65k premium and if you go there I ...

Re: Top Settings Tips
Being a tall lad, the drivers seat is all the way back. The SE said no one would be able to sit behind me. When the rear seats are folded flat, the headrest on the one behind me, always prevented the seat from folding flat. Then found that they could be removed completely, job done. Same problem fo...
