Hey Terry,

Love that - mine has just been built, black and will quite like yours - a few urban bits planned. Both black - you are very keen!

How are you finding it?

Re: New 992 GT3 RS

I wouldn’t want to be stuck with a regular gt3 now This thing is going to be night and day over the regular one, more so than any RS before it I think I’d love a ‘regular’ GT3, ideally with the Touring Pack. Usable as a daily driver = perfect. As I’d probably never track it, the RS would be wasted ...

Re: Black Spyder or Black Classic 20 or 21 Macan Wheels

Take the advice from one who has had Spyders on his Macans for over six years. Only consider Classics. Spyders are a sod to clean. 100% nightmare to clean, I would have gone classics with hindsight - as long to wash wheels as the whole car (snow foam, etc) and I love washing the cars - pure chill t...

Re: Gts guilt

Who knows what the PDI guys do too :( In the late 80’s I was a young man doing my apprenticeship in the motor trade for Vauxhall. One of my jobs at 16 years old was driving the new cars of the transporter and onto the compound all on private property. I can categorically confirm here now that once ...

Re: PCP help

yes, we used - but with a big deposit, got a discount as well which evened out the extra in the APR. We have also cleared this in 2 years (chunks through those years), paid off with lump sum early. plenty of equity in the car (911) be wary of the interest charges and pay of whacks if you can - will ...

Re: How to finance

PCP can work. I am paid a car allowance which covers the payments and the extra interest. This allows me to buy a car that I otherwise would need to fund with far more of my own capital. yes, they can work - I did the same, then make overpayments (large chunks), then own outright in a few years. Th...

Re: How to finance

You're throwing your money away with PCP. It's the most expensive way to 'buy' a car. It's popular because many people don't look past the low monthly payment, it appears 'cheap', the dealers flog it, your friends do it, and it potentially allows you to buy something you cannot otherwise afford. Bu...
