Newbie! Finance advice please!

If you are looking at leasing it might also be worth getting a quote for the 3.0l in case it has lower depreciation expected in which case the lease would be cheaper than the 2.0l.

Optimal spec for £55K?

?? Bluetooth is a stand-alone option irrespective of PCM, its only the £700 odd full phone module that requires PCM My apologies, I got it wrong. Info direct from the Configurator below:With Bluetooth® interface for connecting a mobile phone by means of the Handsfree Profile (HFP). Comprises hands-...

Fuel Tanks

We had a weekend demo from OPC a couple of weeks ago. The SA told me that the gauge does nor 'register' the larger tank and that the extra 15 litres is effectively a larger reserve; he said that when the gauge reads zero you have nearly 3 gallons left. Makes playing petrol station roulette even more...

Doris and Stanley inspect the new conveyance

I know how he feels. The trouble is, even with the smell and the odd muddy paw print, and even with a more considered approach to corners when they're aboard, (!) I'd really rather be in the Macan than the Pathfinder I've just parted with. It was a worthy and comfortable beast, but it drove like a ...

The Long Wait Begins

Hi The Bairn - cheers for the welcomeThanks for your inputs, re the 3 zone climate control, it was suggested, as you say, just to tidy the rear up - the demo model at the OPC doesn't have the 3 zone and the little sticky out "lighter" in the back looks a little clumsy IMHO.The chrono package was on ...

Optimal spec for £55K?

Thanks gents, I am swithering over the PCM, have an earlier version in my current Porsche and it is a tad disappointing to say the least! I've seen a post which states that the later version in the Macan is a significant improvement, which wouldn't be difficult.Dropping PCM will release £2K which m...

PTV+ and PASM only. Review.

Thanks for the review. Very interesting. I'd hummed and hahhed about PTV and it's useful to know that it only comes into its own when really pressing on. I'll see how I get on with my first Macan (when it arrives!) and then I'll have two to three years to think about options for the next one.

Newbie ...Car ordered at last!

On the subject of memory seats, our last car had leather sport seats which weren't adjustable. I thought they were great and hadn't thought to ask anybody else (I know, typical eh?) what they thought. My Mrs didn't like them, I now find, because there was no comfortable position attainable. The othe...

Girlie Question about Spare Wheel Option

Hi SPLI suddenly realised how stupid I was being and that the extra rubber creates exactly the same size!!! Thanks for explaining the 19" - makes sense now.Not a pretty look for the Macan As others have said, the diameter/circumference of the spare is the same as all other tyres on the car. However,...
