I don't think that you can spec a heated windscreen on a Macan, to be honest. So not an omission on your part.
I would personally find the associated grid a bit distracting.

For us it happened the other way round. We first got the Cayman 981 GTS and then got tempted by the Macan as the practical car. Simply liked the quality and the engineering.
