PCM Connect phone app update

Yes, the features are now combined in the new "CONNECT" app to a certain degree only (for the new Cayene 2018 only really). Under the "My Car" tab there is a link to the Porsche Car Connect App, where you log in with your Vodafone Automotive credentials as before, so they are sti...

Demonstrator Request

So my S petrol needs to be returned to the OPC for a new dash cluster only 4 weeks after taking delivery, this on top of having a nightmare 4mnths with S diesel which i eventually got a full refund for. My OPC has a very nice 911 Targa 4 GTS demonstrator, do you think it would be cheeky to request ...

PCM Connect phone app update

I see, that just like the Good to Know App, Porsche also updated the PCM Connect App and now they are using Nokia's Here maps, rather than Google maps, which I like. It is now linked with your Porsche ID and can be linked with the Car Connect App for which you need Vodafone Automotive subscription. ...

Can't resist stating the obvious

Haha, very good, glad you're enjoying it. 8-)

I don't think that you can spec a heated windscreen on a Macan, to be honest. So not an omission on your part.
I would personally find the associated grid a bit distracting.

Volcano or not

Semerka, would GT Silver be a PTS colour on the Macan? If so would be very expensive for what is essentially a Porsche stock colour! Agree that Rhodium and GT would not look good side by side! WingCo will be along in a moment to recommend Carmine ;) I assume it would have to be a PTS colour. But if...

Volcano or not

I love my VG, especially with high gloss black contrast elements, but I have to admit, it’s not that easy to keep clean, swirlmarkts etc... agate is definately brighter and easier. But I would go VG on the next one too. Why don’t you just go silver? Quite smart too and easy to live with. My 911 is ...

911 wannabes

I blame Wing Co! 😂😉

But agree with Arif that the Macan is an introduction for many.
For us it happened the other way round. We first got the Cayman 981 GTS and then got tempted by the Macan as the practical car. Simply liked the quality and the engineering. :)

GTS on All Seasons

Hi - it looks tight (man's finger or not) but not touching, which is the main thing. Just pay attention when taking them off to avoid chipping the calipers. Will save a couple of ppl money on having to fork out for the 19" rims. Thanks for posting Yes, we are chuffed that we did not have to bu...

You can fit a man's finger inbetween the calipers and the inside rim of the wheels.
Didn't he object?
Objections were futile in the name of science!
