If it's the latter, perhaps you could take out even more insurance to cover the shortfall!

Re: You're going to think I'm mad!

Hey Arif, when you collected the GTS weren't you offered list + £5k by some dodgy bloke in the showroom? By my 'man -maths' I reckon this one's cost you £5K - was it worth it?

Re: VPN for home

Is it for privacy, security or to spoof your 'virtual' location? I use https://www.unblock-us.com for the latter (for BBC iPlayer etc) which is actually a DNS rerouting service, although I think they also can provide a VPN.

Yes, and if you don't like them just get two sets and swap them over! I currently have 'euro RO' plates which aren't being phased out any time soon! ;)

Re: Le Mans on TV

I haven't tried, but apparently if you smear a thin layer of Vaseline on the bodywork before applying a GB sticker, it will be much easier to peel off once your trip is over!

Re: Le Mans on TV

That GB sticker looks awful! I suppose we should all get used to them again ready for Apr 19 :)

'Tyre type' is an option in the TPMS menu on the Multi-Function display.

Re: MACAN DPF PROBLEMS

^ Good point Mark - I wonder if it is related to the newer emissions software. My service is due in July so I'll wait to hear from you before deciding on the SW update! ;)

Re: wheels

My 20" all-seasons are fine around the potholes of Bucharest, and I had no problems on hard-packed snow in the Transylvanian hills over Xmas. (Took snow chains but didn't need them!)

Re: Tracker fob

Goron I believe you can't have safety without having the security one. So you have to take the tracker to take the safety. Interestingly overseas you can have any of the three services independently. See below for Germany: PC (2).jpg Here in Romania I was going to go with just 'Safety' and 'Remote'...
