I'm mike munching at a much slower rate, 3500 miles and a year old in about 3 weeks.
My wheels are 21" black classics, total dream to clean but the black gloss finish disappears to a Matt look after very few miles after washing.

Re: Admiral Insurance, beware
Renewal in from Admiral today at 65% above last years premium, but then I did only pay £260 last year. Tried a few comparison sites and can't even get a quote from any Admiral Group companies. Also tried an online Admiral quote but it very quickly recognises an existing customer. Seems they are work...

Re: back to the Macan fold.. sort of
Seems simple, dump the X5 when the 911 arrives and get the wife a Macan! Facelift seems imminent so the timing would be good.

Re: Water marks on aluminium Trim
I have water marks on the glass and sunroof despite always using filtered water. Haven't tried too hard yet to remove them but what short of a machine polish will shift them?

SQ5 to a Macan is a path a few of us here have done and it's a great upgrade. I went GTS as the SD Macan really hadn't the performance or sounds of the SQ5. I test drove the diesel and then the petrol, didn't take long for my decision to be made.

Oh man have you come to the right place or maybe the wrong place lol.
Start us off with model or engine. Alternatively just make it easy and tell us you already know the GTS is best and the model you want. After that add a few options and you're good to go.

Saw my first Velar last weekend. Really not impressed as looks just like any other JLR product especially the Range Rover Sport. Only distinguishing feature were the door handles but now looks like they are going to use them in other models so that is that feature gone.

Re: Urgent decision..... Help!!
I have the GTS 8 way seats and they are very comfy. The 8 way seats in the S models are different to the GTS and they can often be reported as not comfy. And I can very highly recommend a GTS and GTD combo as that is exactly what we have. Having said that the GTD is leaving soon and being replaced b...
