Re: Do I Really Need New Brake Discs With Only 0.5mm Wear ?

At approx 35k miles in my previous S I needed new discs and pads on the front but only pads on the rear, this was at the supplying dealer.

Re: Seat belt warning

Quote I often get 3 Red people symbols when first starting up (rear seats empty) but they go after a short while. Is this what should happen? Unquote This is correct,. If you have rear passengers and they fasten their seatbelts the little people turn green. If they don’t fasten the belts you just ge...

Re: Seat belt warning

Finally got it fixed after two visits to the dealer, second time they admitted it’s a well known problem and a software fix has been produced for it. No beeping after people get out of the back now. Magic! No audible alarm if people get it the back and don’t fasten their seat belts, only the little ...

Re: Gen 3 Rear Seatbelt Sensor Issue

Update, my dealer now says it’s a well known problem and have the car in to fix it. They seem confident they have the fix.
Mind you they said that last time they had the car, so will give a final update when I get it back and have some rear passengers.

Re: Boot light

Thanks for that tip, the led was indeed on so pressed the switch and off it went. Now the boot lights come on at night but not in daylight.
Sorted.

Re: Is Paint Protection Film a Must for a New 2022 Macan?

I fitted mudflaps front and rear on my previous Macan in the hope it would help keep the rear of the car a bit cleaner on the dirty country roads around here. They may have had a minimal effect but not enough to make me fit them to my latest one. I’ve had ceramic coating on both the Macans and I do ...

Re: Comfort access question

I understood comfort entry to be where the seat moves back and the wheel moves away from you when you open the door to get out and returns to your set position when you get back in and shut the door. I had it set for my first Macan but haven’t bothered on this one.

Boot light

I’ve searched on here and in the manual, but can’t find anything. Now it’s getting darker I’ve become aware that the boot lights are not working on my GTS. I can’t find a switch for them or any reference to them in the manual. Is there a switch somewhere or are they linked to the interior lights, or...

Re: Electric car (choice of)

Similar thought process, ended up with an electric Mini, nominally my wife’s car and a new GTS for me. We both use the Mini for local journeys and for longer journeys we tend to go together and I drive in the GTS. Same comments about chargers though, most seem to be the 7kw version and a significant...
