Personally not convinced about alcantara in a SUV, if this was a two seater sports car then yes makes sense I would pick it. But in a SUV full leather all day long in my eyes. It is hard wearing did 50k miles and like new in A4. It has a pile so looks different according what direction it has been rubbed last, so it does not look uniform if you see what I mean.

I have found Alcantara to be cool in hot weather, warm in cold weather and a good secure place to be sitting.
