Re: Macan is the slowest depreciating vehicle

All my research (and I've done a fair bit) suggests any Macan model will hold around 65% of it's original cost after 3 years, and that's as a trade value, not the retail price the dealer then re-sells it for (that's waaaaaaay higher!!) For comparison, my BMW's have returned little over 40% of list p...

Re: Macan is the slowest depreciating vehicle

I still think it's a con! >60% value after 3 years? I doubt it. They might retain 60% of base price at 3 years, but how many people have a base price Macan? If you write off the £5-15k extras that everyone has then it might return 60% of the base price, but not 60% of what anyone actually paid. Yes...

I wonder whether the one dealer that quoted £48,735 as the price for the facelift S actually knows, or was purely speculating based on the differential between the old base and S models.
Yes personally I think it’s just a guess as I doubt whether even Porsche have finalised the price yet!!

Re: UK Configurator Up and Running for Facelift Macan

What’s the guessing on price differentials between 2.0 and 3.0 S. About £4K? The old 2.0 is a decent drive but the difference would always niggle me. The different feel that is. Always worth that few Grand more. BTW a quick run through the config on a 2.0 finished at £60,750. UK price difference on...
