Re: Kufatec Speed Limit Indicator Retrofit

Does this give you the speed limits in the Right hand dial/display? I noticed today that I have speed limits shown on the map of the touch screen, I assume this isn’t the same thing? Yes, once installed, you can configure speed limits to be shown in the little dial/display as an overlay. The limits...

Re: PCM4.0 Map update SD Card part number?

Well car collected on the 2nd for map update. OPC found that a PCM update was required first. This took 6 hours! And didn't leave enough time for the 4hour map update...so need to book in again (after my holiday). Still the PCM update is great. I love having a volume bar, but best is whilst the sat...

Thank you for that hint.
Unfortunately I do not have connect. I decided to user my phone address book to store nav destinations.

Re: Kufatec Speed Limit Indicator Retrofit

Interesting. I presume that you just connect it for long enough to download the settings and then the car retains them (rather than leaving it connected to the OBDII??) Exactly, a led indicates when programming has finished, then you can disconnect. Programming takes about 15 seconds, after that yo...

Kufatec Speed Limit Indicator Retrofit

After I baught my Macan S Diesel I wanted to retrofit the speed limit indicator. Two years ago I asked at my local Porsche Center if they can do that. The answer was: no, since in my car there is no high resolution camera installed. Last month I found the products of company Kufatec, located in Germ...

Re: Diesel Service Campaign WARNING.

I have not noticed a change of engine noise. Mind you I am mostly driving in Sport now and I have a PSE. Do you think Normal Mode has been affected? I suspect theres now an Miss Daisy Ultra Mode. My main issue with the update is remembering to wake it out of Sport Sleep as there is now a slight del...

No. I also would not do it. Noone of us really understands what exactly was changed in the ecus software algorithms. I am confident, that taking all changes they have done a good job.

Re: Diesel Service Campaign WARNING.

I received the update 2 weeks ago. 0-100 times did not change. Also cannot observe loss of power. However, I did observe that the diesel knocking (not sure if this is the right english term) is significantly louder. I hate that, the smoothness of the engine is somehow lost. This motivated me to orde...
