Re: "AUTO REST" button stays illuminated when the car is off?
Go on - press it and find out!! ;-) It just blows some hot air from the engine into the car. Keeps the car warm for up to 20 minutes after you turn the ignition off - using residual heat from the engine. Useful if you're just sitting in the car, or want to come back to a warm car after popping into ...

Re: EV Macan
Expect the new car to sit between the existing Macan and Cayenne in Porsche's line-up. Consider this a brand new model that arguably shouldn't be called a Macan.

Re: Finance options - soon to be decision time
Four things that will reduce the TCO: the higher the deposit, the lower the interest rate, the lower the final payment and the shorter the term. So, option 2 if these are the only options.

Re: Data package fail
I had the same issue with the spinning ball and then a data load failed message. However, it fixed itself after a couple of weeks.

Re: Nick's New Macan s v GTS video
I don't doubt that there's an extra 60 BHP somewhere that someone thrashing it around a race track would notice. Otherwise, I haven't noticed a perceptible acceleration difference between my GTS II and GTS III.

Re: New Macan T
To elaborate on my earlier answer, I could happily live with a Macan T with no options! If pushing the boat out, I’d add less than £2.5k in options = 21” 911 Turbo wheels, PSE, auto-dimming mirrors & the 75 litre fuel tank. :) Or save even more by sticking to the standard 20" wheels. 21&qu...

Re: New Macan T
According to my dealer, the base model (in the UK) generally exists to tempt people away from other manufacturers, thus introducing people to the Porsche brand. Apparently a lot of people are put off by a large-capacity V6 engine. So the issue isn't whether or not the S or GTS is 'better' than a bas...

Re: New Macan T
Not sure where you've seen a £49K Macan T? Starting price is £54K before options, and they're only appearing on the roads now.

The obvious question - what are CP 1.0 to CP 7.0?
