I just bought a Turbo, and that didn't have SC. I thought initially it would be a problem, but all it gives (at least in the Turbo) is launch control, and an extra sport+ mode and some fancy telemetry data. Very nice. I saw a dark blue one in a dealer recently and thought it looked very classy. Very nice indeed.

Went for GAP, but left out the extras. Got tyre+alloy cover from Porsche themselves as it seemed like a reasonable deal at the time.

Thanks peeps. Really happy with my new motor.
Btw, that's mileage based on driving it home about 6 miles. I'd hope for 30ish mpg in normal use.
Gotta be better than 17 in my R8!
Still, we're not that worried about fuel costs are we!?

It's my first foray into Porsche ownership.
Previous interesting cars: Audi B7 RS4 and a V8 R8.

I do miss the R8, but need something bigger and a bit more practical, yet still fun. Macan seems to fit the bill nicely.

Just bought my Macan Turbo from Porsche East London. Didn't really want to wait a year or more, but they had one there that was more or less what I wanted and I could have it straight away.
