Re: Sport design package without side skirts

This option is for when you have running boards. Running boards are always attached to unpainted plastic side skirts; I'm not aware of any option to get the plastic bits painted.

Re: SPEC LOCKED

I think the problem with black spiders is that being black I do not notice them or the detail on them against the tyres. The use of black spiders is the one element that personally puts me off a GTS. However, I do recognise the aftermarket prefers pure GTS's to ones where one of or some of the main...

Re: White Exterior with Black/Crayon Interior - thoughts?

I'm pretty sure the crayon stitching/seatbelts will look good with the white paint.

My previous GTS had the silver stitching/seatbelts and that looked slightly sharper, brighter and cleaner than the crayon. It's a shame Porsche no longer offers this, but perhaps it thinks the crayon is close enough.

Re: SPEC LOCKED

Firstly, have a look on the Configurator. The 'GTS Plus' is effectively the ultimate GTS specification. Despite appearing to be a money no object configuration at £73,111, this has stuck with the 20" Spyders. Secondly, my Porsche dealer very strongly recommended that I didn't change the wheels....

Re: SPEC LOCKED

A lot of people ruining their GTS cars by mucking about with the wheels. Sorry, but the standard black Spyder wheels make the GTS a proper GTS. They look stunning on the car (especially on lighter paint jobs) and, as with other 20" wheels, provide the perfect GTS handling.

I've had both pre and post-refresh cars and not convinced the sound is that much different. Sometimes I think the latter car sounds better, e.g. when changing down gears. I could have a selective memory though!

Re: Brake Dust on Rear Wheels

Thanks for your help guys. Definitely weird to get loads more brake dust on rear wheels. I'll take it into the Porsche Dealer for them to look at. It was stuck in a dock March/April/May so maybe something's happened to the rear brakes. Handbrake staying on a little bit?

Re: Speed humps

You’ll understand the speed bump issue as much as anybody! This one has been lowered too. I have to approach at all sorts of angles ! Your Exige looks fab. Have to admit I miss the Elise. It was the first S2 in Scotland, and I had it eight years. Believe it or not, it would be worth more now than I...
