Re: Macan v X4M

The big reason I left the brand was down to depreciation. It’s actually horrendous now. I had a 2016 X6 40D M Sport ( 3 litre twin turbo with 313bhp ) with a £65k list price which I bought for £50k when 3 months old with 700 miles on clock. 2 years later with 16k on the clock I was getting trade in...

Re: Macan v X4M

Before buying my GTS I considered an X4 and test drove a M40i. It was fast with little lag and the kit on the car is more generous than it used to be. ( I’ve had 9 BMW’s previously ). BMW are bundling options into packs now so the options list isn’t too big now and it’s easier to find a used car wit...

Re: Just collected Macan S

Love the alloys mate. Still not convinced on the rear light bar myself although the tinted ones do look better. The interior is certainly a welcome upgrade from the Mk 1.

Re: new owner (almost - deposit down) with some questions

Sounds like a nicely specced car. Worth having a scout around at what comparable cars are out there with other dealers even if it helps you negotiate on price. This helped hugely when I bought my GTS a few months ago. I was able to quote specific examples of other cars and why I was offering a certa...

Finally..I’ve got one home

Well, after what seems like an eternity of searching various sales sites, forums and classifieds I’ve finally got a GTS on my drive. I’m only three days in but already in love with it. It’s car number 19 in my 23 years of driving and I’ve been lucky to have some very nice and fast cars but this deff...

Re: Red Airbag Warning Light on Dash

Your issue here may be something that’s so new they’ve not seen the problem before - perhaps with new software or updated wiring to the previous model.
Hope you get a quick solution.

Re: Crazy Main Dealer Trade in offers !

Dealers are struggling to sell cars at the minute and prices are dropping of the stock they have. Their way round this is to buy the next lot of stock as cheap as possible.

Re: Hello - Looking to buy

After 12 BMW's and a few VW's I'm now considering a Macan. My wife and I have test driven a new 2ltr and a 17 plate SD - my current car is a BMW 535d GT 2015, so I do like diesel and I think we both preferred the SD over the 2ltr petrol. However, my wife still wants to test drive the BMW X4 M4.0D, ...
