Re: Mission E - Porsche targets 20m charge time for 249 mile range

Cheers, jk88! :) For some reason, the Mission E has gone to the back of my mind at the moment. Can't think why...! ;) Plus, I suspect that my letter of intent on one may have been 'binned', now that I've defected to another OPC for the 911 T purchase! Why did you defect? A very good trade in ...

Re: Porsche 911 Carrera T

So what are people’s thoughts on the T being a bit of a collectors car? Or hold its value etc etc.... Factory closing and new 992 on the horizon...... I can only see a limited amount made or am I missing something? Is the T not like a Black Edition,. Just a run out marketing ploy. Won't really hold...

Re: AMG C63 Estate v Macan Turbo

Think it's true to say that the drag coefficients being discussed need to be multiplied by the 'drag area' (broadly the front of the car) to give a drag measure for a particular car. Suspect Panamera has quite a large 'drag area'. Oh yes, of course! so WingCo is doing the right thing getting rid of...

Re: AMG C63 Estate v Macan Turbo

My mate has decided to go for an estate rather than a Macan, for the reasons you outline. As good as the Macan is, it is no match for a performance estate. Physics decides on that. and you can still load as much stuff into it as you can a Macan. The car he is going for is a 5 series touring of the l...

Re: Audi recall 127k diesels fitted with cheating software

Cheating software discovered in Audis latest v6 and v8 diesel engines. I seriously doubt I want to buy another product from the VW group. The company lost all sort of credibility in my book. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-volkswagen-emissions/audi-ordered-to-recall-127000-vehicles-over-emission...

Why would it be a concern? The GT3 will always be a track biased car for the road. Porsche will not compromise on its build.

Re: Porsche 911 Carrera T

The black contrast roof also goes really well against the yellow. Piano roof anyone 😀 It’s only money and a few kilos For me, the pano roof goes against the ethos of the 'lightweight' Carrera T. Although I did add back in the rear seats and PCM. Whereas PCCBs are fully in line with the ethos...

Re: Macan 2.0 T vs Macan S

I have to say I ind the tone of this post condescending and unpleasant. You have an opinion and should share it, but saying that should anyone disagree with it they are only 'buying a badge' is wrong. I agree, it happens on a lot of other threads also, where the certain self righteous individuals t...
