Re: JLR staff cuts.

JLR have poached large numbers of staff from competitors, offering significant salaries and benefits. Such overheads are difficult to cover unless you can maintain the profit margin, which JLR seem unable to do. It's a great shame and I would not normally slate a 'British' company, but of the people...

Re: My first Porsche

Everyone has different priorities and choices, which is great and lets us see the Macan in all its different guises. It would be boring if we all drove the same car with the same colour and options. For me, air suspension is non negotiable as the ride comfort is so good. My car was pre-selected by t...

Best place for red is the outside
Oh, now you’ve done it. I’ve spent some lazy hours looking at a very nice 911 Carrera in red on the Internet. It may prove to be too much to resist.

Turbo - registered Feb 2018. 8000 miles, no issues.

My last Cayenne (V8S) had a new box fitted at 12000 miles.

Re: Macan options NOT

I was talking to a colleague today about someone we both know who is not very good at his job. My colleague said that the other guy suffers from delusions of adequacy !

Re: A good wash & polish

I had the coating applied by Finer Detailing in Rochdale. He thoroughly cleaned and clay barred the car before applying the coating.

It’s the first time that I have had a car coated like this but would now recommend it to anyone as it certainly does make the car look better and make washing easier.
