My previous Cayenne (the black one in the background) did not have air suspension. I was a bit worried about the 22 inch wheels on the new car giving a harsh ride but when I took a test drive I found the air suspension was magnificent and much better than the previous model.

So there I am at the OPC to have my car attended to for a safety recall, but before I know it I’m drooling over another.

The rest is history ....

I bought a Cayenne in August. It was a dealer specified car, so I only had to wait a few weeks for delivery. The dealer gave me some discount purely on the basis that I registered it on a 19 plate rather than waiting two weeks for the 69 plate.

I’ve just topped 3000 miles in my Cayenne S and I followed the guidance in the manual. The engine has certainly become more responsive as the miles accumulate and on a 220 mile journey this evening, doing 73 - 75 mph most of the time, it returned 35 mpg !

I’m hoping that the ceramic coating on my Cayenne helps get this clean again - a bit mucky after a few days in Cornwall and driving down narrow farm lanes.

Finer Detailing in Rochdale. I have used them twice. On my Cayenne a full wash, prep and ceramic coating was £350.

I traded my Feb 2018 Macan Turbo last month for a new Cayenne. The car is now on sale at the OPC for less than I got in part exchange for it !

I finally managed to get into the special area where the Taycan was being displayed and I have to say that I was underwhelmed, certainly no Wow factor for me.

However, I was told that over 800 people in Norway have already put deposits down, which is not bad for a country with only 4 million people.
