Re: Taycans

…and it looks about a million times better, and it’s better built and it goes round corners better (much, much better). If you are going to save your money, buy EV6 GT - quicker than both AND interesting 😉 EV6 is nice, software excepting. GT looks like a good almost-SUV. I'd have one over a Macan E...

Re: Taycans

Just noticed WLTP for Taycan is _at best_ 20.4kWh/100k which is 3.05miles/kWh. M3LR on a really bad day, is 3.3miles/kWh. And faster. Save your money! But the badge is nice. And I'm sure the seats are comfy. …and it looks about a million times better, and it’s better built and it goes round corners...

Re: Taycans

For those of my partners that drive in to London it works well For me I’ll still be polluting the world too This. 100% discount on congestion charge and pay for 10mins and get 4 hours parking in Westminster helps massively. Yes it doesn't have to be a Taycan but while you can. I've got a friend who...

Re: Mobile phone use in a vehicle, Law change 25 Mar

It's one of those things that requires you to read the whole thing, not just a screen grab of a summary. Eg, it's ok to use your phone to make contactless payments at a drive through or a toll gate. It's ok to use your phone for navigation, so long as it's in a cradle and not mounted in line of sigh...

Edit. Currently 98, with nine under 1,000 miles.
Yes, isn't it odd that the previous owners, who bought their cars in Feb/March this year, decided to part with them after only 10 miles?
10 miles is about the range of a Taycan though. VAG haven’t quite cracked that nut 😂

Re: NFU Tracker Requirement

NFU will only insure me if my car has a active/subscribed Tracker system. I will have 30 days to activate from commencement of policy. The cost of the policy + Tracker subscription is cheaper than my lowest quote from Aviva without a Tracker. Do you think this is generally because NFU, or combinati...
