Re: Which Nav version do you have?

You may be right Skipper, my circumstances at the time were that I was both in warranty and had a (free) subscription from the original purchase so the answer was in that content.

Re: Which Nav version do you have?

There are 2021 maps available - I have a connect subscription and have downloaded the three regions that are you allowed to download per update. When I asked Porsche (Germany) they said they limited it to three to prevent people from using all their data - I suggested that should be my decision but ...

Re: Air Suspension

I would have PASM towards the top of my option list. It's a Porsche, PASM manages the suspension and is what Porsche expect you to have to experience their chassis design. The bigger the wheels, the more benefit - so almost a definite on 21". With air - it adjusts the car so it takes into accou...

Re: Air Suspension

I bought it because I tow with the car - and it is great. But if I wasn't towing, I don't think I would get it.

Re: Trade Prices and Stealer Margins

You are surely not 'the only one' but the vast majority of people spending £50K on a second hand car would want a 111 point manufacturer check and two year warranty.

5K - 8K is the answer.

Re: Prospective owner - help!

0% on a new purchase for most people, 1% if you are lucky, maybe a couple of free accessories (e.g. some mugs).

Re: Understanding Porsche Brand

On balance, most would say that with 21" wheels, PASM is a must (I would say PASM is a must regardless......you do want a Porsche after all?). I think air is a bit more difficult, but as I use my Macan for towing, it was a must for me. In 'normal' usage, I think air is not as important.

Re: Understanding Porsche Brand

Are you comparing the 'base price' of a new car with the second hand prices? As most Porsches have 10K or more of extras on them, so that needs to be taken into account.

Re: Sunroof drain and PDK oil change costs

On the oil leak, seems that this is fairly common and generally fixed under warranty when the car is in warranty. Sounds like Porsche is 'punishing' you for not taking out an extended warranty.....
