Re: Proportion of cars with Transfer Case issue
Hi Rob I did a little bit of background work on this issue and it's not just Porsche that suffers from this fault but a general SUV problem. Having said that, it's not a massively complex job to undertake but it would be nice to know if Porsche have had any success to design this issue out? Having s...

Re: Porsche Range Experience Silverstone
Does anyone know if you buy a approved used car from OPC they offer the track day? I'd book regardless, but would be interesting to know.

Re: Transfer box failed
Thanks Paul! I suppose it makes sense to the accountants! Given that mine was replaced in Feb 18, I am not sure whether I should be willing it to fail again before my extended warranty expires in Aug 20! Beyond that (and if people are still having problems with replacement boxes) I will possibly in...

Nearly new purchase - Should transfer box issues put me off?
I'm looking at a 2018 GTS for my 1st delve into the Porsche world. I have read a lot about the transfer box issues and it seems in most case s if problems arise and relevant warranties exist then there should be no problem replacing defective unit. I do wonder however why Porsche haven't been more o...

My preference would be body coloured on a light car, white, silver or chalk. The darker colours I feel suit the smooth black. I kept them black on my Carmine GTS and it looked better for it. Interestingly my mate just picked up his fully loaded turbo for his wife in crayon with black accents which ...

Re: GTS Residuals - Gen 1 vs Gen2
What year did the Porsche engine change to VW on the GTS. I've been trying to find out but very little info. All Gen 1 V6 petrols (3.6 Turbo and 3.0 GTS & S) are Porsche engines. The diesel 3.0 is a VAG (Audi) unit. The 2.0 is a VAG unit. All Gen 2 petrols are VAG the V6 is a 2.9 and the 2.0 is...
