I bought 6 recently from Amazon(CR2032). They were about £3 for the lot.

Re: Subscription for a steering wheel?

There's already guys advertising software updates to unlock loads of features already embedded in the car for Volkswagen's and Audi so I'd assume they'll do the same and give you all the features for £99 and a dongle for the port on the BMW's too. It's the new equivalent of getting all the Sky chann...

Re: Intelligent Speed Assistance

I'll give it about a week for the guys at Cobb or TDI Tuning or any of the other tech wizards to come along with a software flash or plug-in to over ride it without anyone seeing a thing on the ECU.

Re: Extending the Warranty and Porsche Assistance Service

I've had my SD from new since March 2016. I've extended twice now for 2 years a times. I'd definitely recommend it. I had a new PDLS unit fitted, that's a £2k fix, Adblu pump failure also fixed under warranty and as I have Air, that's a matter of time as I'm on 89k.... The price is set by Porsche wh...

Re: Python Green

It's a brave colour, and as a past owner of Racing Yellow, these colours are both attractive to those who wouldn't ever buy one, and difficult to resell as a result. I love 'brave' colours, but I think even I would struggle with all that green. It's very much a 'Florida car' where it looks great on...

Re: New Land Rover Defender

A good friend of mine took delivery of his £55k Defender on Tuesday and sold it Thursday for £69K within 1 minute of going live on Autotrader! He was offered slightly more, but honoured the 1st buyer as he'd given a deposit. He's only put 50 miles on it and intended to keep, but the prices he was s...

With the current parts shortages, check for a steering wheel and seats that aren't manual.

Re: Crazy used prices

Agreed it may never happen, but who knows, I imagine it will creep in to policies over time It's still not clear to me if even with the limiter turned off, it may still beep at you and display warning messages. The ETSC only recommends a “full on/off switch” for the limiters should be included “to ...

How do you get so many loaners?

I haven't had a sniff of one from Hatfield for 2 years now.

Re: What's the average cost of options i wonder...

When I bought my SD in 2016 it was £66,166 on the invoice. Roughly £20k in options. That said, I still have it now and enjoy it every day. The only option I regret was the Pano roof, only use it to cool the car down when it's parked outside my office window. That was the one option the SE said was a...
