Re: Looking to buy a 911

Hi guys, Do you know if electric folding mirrors is an option that can be retrofitted at a reasonable cost? Kufatec offer it, although looks like they haven’t actually fitted one on either 991 or 992 🙄 Usually any kind of physical retrofit is prohibitively expensive. https://www.kufatec.com/en/pors...

Re: Day at Silverstone PEC in GTS

Had an interesting conversation with my instructor after about what speed the Macan would do around the original handling track. I asked him what the car was capable of speed wise around the track at various points and he gave the example below... If you imagine when you come out of the ‘pits’ then...

Re: Looking to buy a 911

5 years gone and still love my agate with brown accents. Previously I always wanted a Mexico blue 911 but not sure if I’d get bored with the colour after a while. I do think the bold colours look good on a 911 tho

Also if a gts was not specked with air suspension would that be a deal breaker?
I’m in the prefer GTS without air, camp, so definitely not a deal breaker for me.

Re: I need some education

Sorry gents it was a gen 1s I’m looking at between 66/18 plates So is the turbo and gts suspension totally different? And sound wise do the sound the same? Yes, they are different as standard. The GTS has a stiffer/sportier suspension setup. The sports exhaust came standard on GTS but I think was a...

Re: I need some education

The GTS comes with black accents and unique black brushed aluminium trims as standard., Also alcantara/leather or option of contrast stitching special interior. It has a sportier ride /feel suspension set up as standard. Personally I wouldn't go for air on the GTS but have stuck with 20" wheels...

Re: Agate Grey Metallic - dropped from the colour range?

This is probably correct. It wasn't available when we bought our 2016 GTS or our 2020 GTS as I probably would have considered it

Re: Looking to buy a 911

Nice looking car!

PDDC was an over 3k option from memory. I love it!
Not sure if the model year 2012 was the same but mine has PDDC printed on the suspension button immediately below the sports plus button on the centre console

Re: Looking to buy a 911

I agree with what MCDK and Semerka are saying re the rear wiper aesthetically, but If I was using the car daily and in all weather it isn't a bad thing to have.

Re: Looking to buy a 911

Sports chrono and Burmester* are both good options on a other wise lightly optioned car (*if you are a audiophile). The 14 way seats are the real take or leave clincher for me tho. I prefer the 18ways but its very personal. What works for you depends on your own physical build/comfort and if you hav...
