Re: Standard Black-Why Not?
Paint has two purposes. to protect the metal beneath and to help make the vehicle visible. Any black fails the latter test at which Carmine excels ( nearly as well as bright yellow )

Re: 2022 Macan Build Dates
The only volcano Macan I can see on the picture appears to be in the far top right farthest away from the ramp. Do not think Omni's is going to make the first boat!! ;) ;) Except they’ve mucked up his order and it is now flat white Was that from paint or bird droppings whilst sitting on the dock? :...

I was about £16k on my Gen2 S . However that includes a wheel upgrade to 20 which are now standard on Gen3. My other big items were Air, ACC, heating insulated privacy glass, SC, surround view, Bose and 18way seats. I would include these items if ordering again.

Re: New Member - Stuck in Emden
It's not just Porsche. Any build to order premium car maker is having similar problems. Even UK ones like JLR. I know someone who ordered a RR Velar in May. He has no information on when he will get it. Best guess by the dealer "first half of 2022" as advised by Land Rover. Yes but JLR ar...

Re: GTS build dates
I'm assuming with this being a GEN2 that this was most probably a genuine customer decided to flip and take advantage of these times. Whilst there are people willing to pay these extortionate prices it shall continue 147 miles on the clock Yeah, what I should have said was someone who was a genuine...

Re: Where is my deposit
In normal times, I have gained the impression from the forum, most members are kept informed regarding the process of their order,i.e lockdown, build, Emden and at the OPC We are not in normal times and just in time delivery is breaking down across many industries, most of the information some are e...

Re: Where is my deposit
It can be useful to place a deposit with more than one OPC. I did just that and had two early build slots offered before I settled on the one I wanted. Ask before placing a deposit and if any OPC wants a top up at lockdown then ignore them and use another OPC. Do we know for sure if the “top up” th...
