Re: Clean wheels

Thanks. Its actually been a while since I had a wheel off and back then it was me just using a spider wrench with one of the ends being the correct fit for to go over the wheel nuts. Tightness setting i did was 'bloody tight'. If I bought a torque wrench I'd like to ensure it comes with the right 'c...

Re: Clean wheels

Great job. I've been meaning to do mine but the weather has been horrendous. also want to have a go at the rusty hubs.

Don't suppose anyone knows what size torque wrench I need for the porsche's wheel nuts?

Do you have a pic of the back of the wheel caps by any chance?

Re: All Weather Floor Mats and Boot Liner

Saw you advertised these on the Macan Facebook group. Any other car I have owned i have never seen so much demand for all weather mats. They sell like hot cakes too! Having said that I negotiated with my OPC to get a complimentary set for me (apparently in the post). Didn't feel the need for them be...

Re: Autocar report 2nd facelift buttons gone Petrol Macan

No functional improvement (I guess) just more to go wrong. Had a Cayenne Coupe eHybrid on loan for 3 weeks and it was all touch switches. Worked fine, but....... Also the fuel consumption over 4000 mile life of the Cayenne was way worse than my Macan so came away very disappointed with the Cayenne ...

Re: Autocar report 2nd facelift buttons gone Petrol Macan

I get the issue with consumption being worse in some cases, especially if the heavy battery isn't charged each night as intended, but for now with the patchy coverage of charging points, a hybrid makes more sense than full EV for most. I also like having a 'proper' engine with real tailpipes and kno...

Re: Autocar report 2nd facelift buttons gone Petrol Macan

After being in my wife's new evoque with the duo screens I am a fan of the physical buttons in the macan. Not just the tactile feedback but also because on the evoque its a several step process to go into seat or climate settings. If macan follows cayenne layout though at least its similar to physic...

Re: Macan buying advice.

And in terms of buying a Porsche vs evoque. You only live once. My wife has a new evoque hse and as nice as it is, it doesn't give that intangible 'feeling' you get when you look out the window and see it on the drive, sit in the drivers seat, pull the key out of your pocket, etc. You get my point.

Re: Macan buying advice.

Everyone's financial circumstances and priorities vary. Personally at my age (35) if I had enough to buy a brand new macan gts for £70K I'd rather be using that towards our next house but that's because I know I'm not currently in my 'forever home' and I have car allowance which covers the monthly P...
