Re: Detailing and washing your Macan
Piano Black trim. Noticed a small mark on the main dash trim yesterday and tried to rub it off with a micro fibre cloth. Now got a 10p sized set of circular scratch marks (very light). Anyone know anyway to get these out or are they best left alone? If ordering from new, I would go for one of the pa...

Re: Is your Macan worth £3000?
Where I live we had no bus service locally, to get to the nearest bus stop required a 1 mile walk which for me is not easy as I am waiting to go in for a hip replacement operation There is a way round this. My Mom took a fall in the kitchen on Thursday morning and her hip was replaced yesterday aft...

Apparently it has already been confirmed as having being infiltrated by all sorts of bots - signatories in the thousands, from Antartica to Vatican City and Western Sahara, to name but a few?

Re: Transfer box - Survey of members
Watch out if buying used, I've just found out that a standard solution for Honda and Mazda transfer box failure is to remove the transfer box and prop shaft. Hopefully with the Macan being set up as a rear wheel car (80%) this wouldn't be possible with Porsche..... I'd assumed that the transfer box...

Re: SUV Petrol vs Diesel Comparison
I agree that a smooth, torque rich Diesel engine is still a good choice for this kind of relatively heavy SUV. It seems, from my admittedly not very extensive research (looking at Pistonheads ads), that 12 months on from Porsche dropping the sales of Diesels, the initial free fall of used SD prices ...

Re: Would I choose the same options again?
I would normally agree, but I was driving the missus Q5 one very cold day recently and got a serious case of Raynauds in 2 of my fingers. Sitting on my hand with the heated seat jacked up full sorted it, so I'm guessing a heated wheel may have helped? Enough for me to consider it in future, anyway.

Same here, thought it was my clunky old iPad, but it is like watching paint dry today.

Re: Would I choose the same options again?
My car was pre-specced, but had I specced it, I would've added dimming mirrors and interior light pack, which it sadly lacks and really should be standard at this pricing point? For my own needs, in hindsight I could probably forego the Chrono pack with Sports plus (never use it, although I like the...
