Re: Comfort access stopped working
My comfort access (where the seat goes back when you take the key out of the car) has suddenly stopped working. I have checked i have a tick under car settings - locks in the cluster, but no movement. Anyone else experienced this? How was your battery charge? If the car goes into battery protection...

Re: SD values.
Wbac not good for car with lots of extras as they do not ask about them. For most it does not matter but for Macan's the retrial prices do tend to be improved for a higher spec car. Autotrader, probably a better guide then a £4k to £5k reduction for trade to retail difference. https://www.autotrader...

Re: Taycan...any owners on here? Talk to me...
A Gen1 Taycan new as WLTP range of about 300 miles, in practice at most 200 usable (10 to 80%). As the car ages this reduces and reduces more quickly if fast charging regularly used. A ten year old Taycan could be struggling to make usable 100 mile range between charges. On a long motorway trip coul...

Re: It's only money!
40% depreciation after 4+ years is pretty good. Would a £70k Kia be worth £40k after the same time? I think a £40k Kia might be worth £24k after the same time?? But I also think that Macans are nearer 50% after 4 years in terms of what you can sell them for NOT what an OPC is asking for them?? I ag...

Re: Soddin’ SatNav.
Been out again and made it to the Store in question, been there many times so no need for the SatNav from home to the Store. I then wanted to go from this Store to another in a different Town so keyed in the name of the business and it gave a list of all the stores, Bolton, Blackpool, Liverpool but...

Re: Soddin’ SatNav.
Waze only allows you to enter one current destination and not a series of destinations for the day. If I am on a long trip, I find that useful as it helps assess how much time I can spend at each stop and hence I use the Porsche sat nav

Re: Windscreen washers
OPC's that include porsche summer screen wash even when a car is serviced in November do not have an answerable case.

Re: Driving in snow
Many years ago I was walking home from work on a day we’d had a heavy fall of snow. We lived at the top of a hill. At the bottom of the hill were lots of abandoned cars that had failed to make any progress up the hill. As I walked I noticed a single pair of tyre tracks going up the road and wondere...

Re: Driving in snow
Winter tyres make the biggest difference. Macan tyres are far too wide for snow too. Recall a video of a fwd car on winters beating a 4wd car on summer’s on snow; equally a 4wd Panda leaving an RS4 for dead, again in snow but the 18s and 19s are narrower than 20s and 21s and are the wheel sets to u...
