They have the same from but the extra adjustments of 18 way are not just lumbar.

8 ways do not have the seat memory feature

Re: Macan GTS - spec opinions & avoiding tinted glass

In your configurator look in the Summary > Standard Equipment and you will find the answers.

ie tinted light strip and PDLS are standard.

Personally I would not bother with bling and most certainly upgrade the seats, 8 way are so 1980’s

Re: Excitement building

As you are iffing about PS+ then if I were you I would ask the Service Manager if it can be turned off and turned back on again if required?

Its not available as a retrofit so you will be stuck without it if you choose to forego.

Re: 7 months without my Porsche

This makes appalling reading, it is by far the worst car that I have heard about here on the forum. I would also write to Porsche GB giving them chapter and verse on the issues experienced and the multiple OPC’s that have failed to resolve the problems. Ask them what they are going to do to effect a...

Re: Macan specialist in Manchester ?

Look up PCGB R5 and seek out recommendations.

There do seem to be plenty of Indy’s around the M62.

When I did just this Jasmine in Brierfield was the go to Indy for the R18 region.

Re: In-Built Navigation Maps Version and Update

Try logging into your home WiFi system from within the car and then selecting an update. When I was having issues my local OPC had to do this with by logging my Macan into their WiFi system yet it still took overnight to update everything. Why we cannot log into My Porsche on a PC, download updates ...

Re: Does buying a new Macan make sense now?

Thanks for all the opinions. It seems some do relate with my thoughts. By tech, I mean things like: - the ability for the car to steer itself in a lane on the motorway while under cruise control (within reason whilst holding the wheel) Why do you need the car to keep you in your lane? If you seriou...

Re: Does buying a new Macan make sense now?

“Lacking in Tech”, that depends upon what Tech is important! All Macan’s are based on a model that has been out for over 10 years. It is a Porsche so if your idea of Tech is Infotainment and its integration you are looking at the wrong manufacturer. If Tech, is Driver Tech then that is totally diffe...

Has the car had its wheels coated?

It does not sound like they are!
