Re: Absolutely livid! Porsche Leeds.

Agree with Steve, if you want peace of mind pay the extra and go Porsche approved, decide on your personal spec/colour wants and stick to it, currently 5 with pebble interior, S and above for under £50k all with a 2 year warranty, check them out 👍

The spec is good, looks like an Agate interior which is a bit marmite and being advertised as an auction on fleabay by a trader that looks like they’ve been operating just over a year 🤔

Re: Absolutely livid! Porsche Leeds.

Hi Dan, understand your frustration but If I have read this correctly and if this was your comment below as you asked to pull the deposit, it doesn’t exactly assure them that you were committed to that exact car? “Once again Jamie has been extremely helpful, I would not want to cause any friction at...

Re: EU perversity. More cc’s for surviving engines

The confusion why Porsche spent money creating the 4L engine for the Boxster becomes clearer now. Pop a set of turbos on it and theres you new 911 engine maintaining power even with more exhaust cleaning gubbins attatched. Just then have to find where the extra cleaning gubbins can be hung, can see...

Re: Hello 👋🏻

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I was looking for more for a while, but ending up actually purchasing it from my Dad (I bought it from him, as he became too ill to drive). It was just gathering dust in his garage. I fulled expected him to drive it more, but you never know what is round the corn...

Re: EU perversity. More cc’s for surviving engines

Not surprising, this is what’s creating it “We will have bigger catalytic converters by a factor of three to four – there will be an industrial chemical factory in the car to control emissions […] the main reason [for the displacement increase] is because it will take relative power per litre down” ...
