Re: Macan GTS first service
Thanks Si. Thought you had yours sorted a while ago so at least they are familiar with the issue.

Re: GTS exhaust tips
I'm with Belfast and yes I believe others have had the same issue resolved with them. Must pop off an email reminder.

Re: GTS exhaust tips
They told me they had taken pictures and sent them to Porsche for approval. Clearly they won't take any risk just incase they would have to pay for it themselves sadly.

Re: GTS exhaust tips
How long does it take Porsche HQ to respond to a request to agree to swap the tips normally? My car was in for service end of week before last and a request was apparently sent to Porsche. Spoke to dealer middle of last week to pay for the service and they said they hadn't heard back at that time.

Re: Macan GTS first service
Just to revisit this thread I started. Service now carried out and people were keen to know if my paperwork noted anything about me supplying oil. Answer is no, all stamped as expected and invoice with no notes or amendments. So that's £100 saved, any of the doom and gloom doubters want a share of i...

Re: Bodywork scratch - advice appreciated.
No need for a new bumper as the plastic can be repaired but it will need a full respray I would be pretty sure. More money for sure but will leave it a perfect repair you are happy with. £400 should do the job.

Can't see that being a smart repair as it would never go back to a perfect finish. Full bumper respray required.

Re: GTS exhaust tips
Is changing the tips an easy DIY job? My car was in for service last week and they have submitted a case to Porsche to replace them. As the dealer is a 100 mile round trip that I don't fancy doing I wondered can they send me the tips and I fit myself?

Re: 911 Speedster Concept & Taycan announced by Porsche
Doesn't actually seem that expensive either in the scheme of things! Agreed! Lowered and tweaked suspension, Akrapovic exhaust and engine mapping resulting in a boost from 365bhp to 480bhp (compared to 444bhp for the GTS). £10,339 + VAT. One to consider maybe for when the 3 year warranty runs out.....
