Space saver tyres typically have 3mm of tread depth from new. The legal limit is 1.6mm across 3/4 of the tread area. So there is just 1.4mm of useable tread.

This small section temporary use tyre heats up rapidly on a heavy car like a Macan. See the tyre industry statement above.....

Remember that a space saver spare is only good for 50 to 70 miles use at 50 mph max. Only 3mm from new, so cannot be reused if you've gone the distance on it.

No Porsche do not use runflats.

If you are contemplating a new Porsche, perhaps first establish the realistic delivery date and resulting price post EU. Then seek a fixed price for the cost to change. Get it confirmed in writing from the Sales Manager. A loyalty bonus should also be possible to negotiate as you are a repeat buyer....
