Re: Mr JWW buys a Macan Turbo Performance Pack

I wonder how long he’ll keep it once he realises how small/impractical the Macan boot is. I mean I took other half to the airport the other day and couldn’t even fiit just one oerson’s luggage in the back. It’s a fair point. I cancelled my original order when it first came out because our son was s...

Mr JWW buys a Macan Turbo Performance Pack

One of the best automotive YouTubers in my view has just bought a Macan Turbo PP. Good to see him extolling it’s virtues! It almost made me want one again.

Cleaning Up

I was flicking through the latest Christophorous magazine this morning and read the article with the above title. This paragraph about the new petrol particulate filters sounds like they may experience all the same issues as diesels for low mileage users, even though they say they have extensively t...

My favourite bit of this thread was the starting assumption that ‘working from home’ would provide a good opportunity to wash the car! [emoji16]

Re: Decision nearly made - any last-minute advice?

There should be plenty of cars out there with surround view. Why not use that as your shortlisting criteria and then fit an aftermarket tow bar? It would give you far more choice I would imagine.

Re: Would you buy a used car unseen?

I bought my Quad unseen with just the balance on collection. There were definitely imperfections in the paintwork that the camera and pictures hadn’t picked up. These were due to the car being washed very carelessly. I had the car detailed after I got it and it then looked probably better than new. ...

Re: Thinking of selling...

That seems like a remarkably good offer from the OPC. I guess there are few Turbo PPs around and therefore must be very desirable for them to take into stock. Good luck with the switch.

Re: 3rd year review for Macan SD

The reticence to make small mods is ultra cautious in my view. If I’d kept my Macan, I was at the point of having the same TDI tuning box fitted. I went to their head office and had it fitted to try it out and it made a real difference as James says. Same story with my Quad. The exhaust noise is at ...
