goron59's thoughts on PCM/Car Play
Bazza06 - I use EAC to convert from Compact Disc to FLAC. They are significantly larger than MP3 files, one of the reasons for MP3 being so popular but the listening is far better. It might be worth stating, that FLAC is vendor agnostic, not tied into one particular companies products, and hence a tr...

PTM? Can you imagine what Porsche would charge for that additional car feature? Probably backed up with an annual fee too?

I've been testing the sound system out a little bit today. Using FLAC files rather than MP3 and I can say I was quite impressed with the sound quality, This is through the BOSE system but the combination of the BOSE and the quietness within the cabin meant I could listen to some music I'd previously...

Thanks, that's a fascinating read.
Having just picked up my Turbo, the key questions are what value does the pre fitted Tracker have and is it worth using the prompted Vodafone based service?

Definitely worth the wait - a new Turbo
I can confirm that I've now joined the ranks of antisocial parking Macan owners, "oh is that my space on the far side of the car park"
Happy Days.
Happy Days.

Definitely worth the wait - a new Turbo
It's been a good week, after a cracking day at the PEC on Wednesday, on Friday afternoon I got to pickup of the new Turbo from Reading. After a lengthy and very good handover, including quite a few pictures I then had a lovely sunset drive home via lots of twisty roads, it might get better than this...

Which tracks are the most fun at silverstone
Ref the emergency braking practice, I found it stunning how fast the Macan stopped. So much so that the Instructor gently reminded to really bury the pedal on the next attempt as I hadn't got the car to fully work! The Lane change has to be quick to avoid stopping half way through the change, bloody...

Which tracks are the most fun at silverstone
One piece of advice I was given, and ignored, was to get the instructor to do a few hot laps on a circuit, to show you how fast they are. A quicker step to going fast yourself? The whole experience is rather special, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit this week and learnt a lot. This coming from a high m...
