Re: Macan T ... going through some personal touches

I think it's refreshing to read threads like these rather than the usual 'what do you think of my new car spec?' or ' what colour shall I go for?' Definitely needs lowering. Does it have PASM? Bilstein do a kit which will lower it and I think h&r might do lowering springs. Not sure about Kw? Or...

Re: Farewell and Adieu (perhaps)

As I’ve said before I really liked the Cross Turismo we had for a weekend a couple of years ago, but hated the brief foray into the world of public charging. So I bought a good ol’ gas guzzler instead!

Gee Simon that bucks the trend. Let’s hope it’s repeatable for those of us renewing soon.

Re: Driving Abroad

If you’re driving in Spain, Cyprus and Malta, you’ll always need a UK sticker, no matter what you have on your number plate. For other EU countries your number plate must have 🇬🇧 plus UK to be valid. Finally be warned I now understand speed cameras on the French Péage system have a post brexit link...

Re: Macan - a sports car, a hot hatch, a luxury cruiser or ???

I think of my Macan Turbo as more of a Grand Tourer rather than a hot hatch or traditional SUV. To quote the editor of Classic Cars magazine: "The ideal Grand Tourer is of a car with the ability to cross a continent at speed and in comfort yet provide driving thrills when demanded" The en...

Re: Macan - a sports car, a hot hatch, a luxury cruiser or ???

Land Rover used the Macan as the benchmark when they were designing the F-Pace but had to delay its launch when they realised how good the Macan was and that they weren’t getting close enough. They still didn’t achieve their goal but even so the F-Pace was probably better as a result. As others have...

Re: Gen 3 wheels on Gen 1 Macan S

If it helps, I sold my old Gen 1 GTS 20” R/S Spyder wheels to a guy who owned a gen 2 S. they fitted no issues. I don’t see why all 20” wheels would not fit on every Macan. However, are you aware that the rear wheel arch spats/extensions are required for 20” wheels and larger? The smaller wheels be...

Re: Rear washer pipe leak - modification?

Porsche supposedly fixed the issue in newer models , but I'd still recommend touching base with your dealership to be sure. Since your car's from July '23, it might already have the updated connectors. Really? First suggestion I've heard/seen of any change, has this from a reliable source? I'd be w...

Re: Vibration through accelerator pedal

Any number of issues could cause this. You say bought recently, from an OPC? If you’re still within a warranty period then I’d suggest you get the suppling dealer to look at it.
