I obviously don't spend enough time looking at my car (it is a car isn't it, not a sex object or art work?) I drive it, most enjoyable, park and do what wants doing, never stop stroke "the beast", admire it, weep over any imperfections, or ....... oh, effing 'ell it's a bloody car, not Mic...

I think a preferable option would be a fixed (non-opening) glass roof. I like the pano roof for the extra light in the cabin, but I never open it, so I'd be happy with a fixed roof which would be far simpler and totally reliable. Buy a Discovery! Roof is "totally reliable" only problem is...
