Re: Memory seats losing memory
As an aside note, we have recently experienced an issue whereby the heating and ventilation system on our car doesn't return to the settings it previously had. It now defaults to non-sync, non auto, AC on, and blower on about half speed. Not sure if this is memory related or not, but it's a pain whe...

Re: Petrol or Diesel
Depends where you live. Here in NI, petrol cars are in a total minority - looking around the work car park here and my 718 is the only petrol car (apart from a colleague's motorbike!) out of 40 or so cars. You would often see second hand petrol powered cars sitting on a forecourt for months and mont...

Re: Detailing and washing your Macan
Upgraded the washer to a K5 Karcher at the weekend. Much better foam, lasted much better, but I still can't believe that you lot are getting away with diluting down the Ultimate Finish! Must experiment a bit more! Also I wonder if turning down the pressure would affect the foam? Again some experimen...

PDK in manual mode
Just a thought - while driving my 718 this morning and enjoying the feel of a manual, I was considering whether PDK would be a choice for the next Boxster or not. After all, I hardly ever use the McCann in manual mode - does anyone else?

Yep, me, Fell off a week or so ago. Need to get it booked in, but it's not vital as everything still works..

Re: One week on with my SD
Yep, also agree on the standard stereo. No problem cleaning sport design wheels, so it's worth considering those if you're upgrading. Glad you're enjoying your new Macan. We're still enjoying ours 7 months and 3800 miles on. It still puts a smile on my face every time I turn the key in the ignition...

Re: It Happened Again!
I had an Alfa 156 once. Driving cross country to work in Naas (near Dublin) one bank holiday Monday, little or no traffic so I was flying low. There were a load of crows on the road eating some grain spill, and they were pretty lazy about taking off when they heard a car approaching. Must be used to...

Re: Navigation queries
As an aside, I use a TomTom app for iPhone which is absolutely brilliant, especially when abroad with a hire car. Anyway, there is an option for selecting twisty roads. Imagine that!

Re: Brake Fluid
The reservoir won't always be full. As the lads have said earlier, the level goes up and down as the pads wear and are replaced.
