Re: Test drive booked

We got freebies with both cars - Martini Racing umbrella and Porsche wine with 718s and boot liner and flowers with Macan S. Umbrella is really good and the wine was tasty. Apparently the Porsche family have their own vineyard.

Re: Audi eTron 40 S-Line

In Spain a few months ago I had a T-Roc (or something beginning with T) which had lane keeper installed. Pain in the hole. I went to pass a cyclist and the nanny pulled me back in and I nearly hit him. What an absolute load of nonsense! Thankfully it could be turned off with a few buttons, but what ...

Re: Cars we have owned since passing test till present

Good to see a Golf GTi in both of the above lists! I also owned a GTi (Mark II) and loved it (three door in dark metallic blue) only selling it when I got my first company car. The recent Golf GTi models just don’t have the same appeal, in my eyes. My insurer raised an eyebrow when I went from an 8...

You could also set the tyres temporarily to a different size - 18", and then back to your correct size. After a number of miles, it will realise that it needs to adjust.

Re: Boxster and Cayman chat

Bit early, but how are the white (ish) seats bearing up? I wish I had configured our 718 with the blue / white leather, but our SE put us off them saying that jeans would stain the seats after a while. I went with solid blue, but wish I had kept to the original plan. Two cracking interiors, by the w...
