Re: Turbo Performance Pack Advise
To all intents and purposes the Turbo PP is a GTS on steroids and would be my choice if I went back to a Macan.

Re: 2020 map update available
I never used to be a fan of Waze but find it integrates very well with Car Play and the updates on pot holes, police, accidents etc are very useful. Visually it's not the best but the functionality is actually very good.

Re: We want your Porsche!
They declined to make a offer stating ‘It’s not something the are looking to buy’. Then why advertise here, looks like they don’t really want your Porsche! For the record it’s April 2019 reg s in blue with 21 inc spiders. The season I am thinking of selling is I find myself wanting a Turbo as I kno...

Re: What “bad fuel” can do
Sorry Paul no idea what the fieldworker was all about. Yes mentions detonation but he was running an engine at 1000 hp + which suggests that it is being forced and induction pressure is likely to be very high which I suspect can be a contributory factor to detonation. Probably the bigger issue is po...

Re: What “bad fuel” can do
Funny I watched this and thought that the wear was down to thrashing the engine rather than bad fuel so I don't think it is at all clear that it's a fieldworker related thing.

Re: Thoughts on price? 2014 turbo
I think you can probably get 5-10% off used but you’ll be lucky to get anything off a factory build and, if you do, I doubt you can expect more than about 2%. Don’t forget that this approach does help residuals unlike BMW etc where 15-20% off new is commonplace and residuals are dogshit! Sent from m...

Re: FOR SALE: Porsche 911 997 Carrera 2 S Coupe (2005 model yr)
As far as I'm aware the IMS issue was predominantly confined to the 996 although some (about 1%) of late 2005 early 2006 997s (non-S) were also affected so unlikely to be an issue here

Re: Touchless Wheel cleaning
I am a wheel guy and if the wheels look clean I am happy. I have discovered a great way to get 95% clean wheels via touch less method with below plus a good jet blast: Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel Cleaner £15/liter - brilliant, highly recommended. I probably get 15 to 20 uses out of it, also good for the...
