Re: Electric Towbar - Macan
On my first picture you can see a red plug going into the control box this appears to carry the control wires from the switch. Unfortunately I did not fit my tow bar the dealer did so cannot really help much more, the pictures in this thread are as detailed as I can get them.

Re: Electric Towbar - Macan
These instructions should help
https://www.pfjones.co.uk/westfalia_fit ... 300113.pdf
But on second thoughts you are concerned re the deployment these only cover the siring for the socket. Have you tried helping the bar extend it could be that its just stiff.

Re: Multi function display symbol
I triggered it once pulling out to fast behind a car overtaking me on the motorway. Apart from that not triggered it in 17k miles.

Re: Macan 2.0 Gen 2 - Problem with leather front seats
Steam can shrink leather, but really thats best left to an expert in case you destroy the finish.
At 4.5k miles really they should look at it.

Re: Dash cams?
The airbag is an L shaped Bag, part of it goes down the A Pillar a the other along the roof . The examples where the wire is pushed in across the top of the A pillar trim could cause an issue if that airbag is ever deployed. That airbag is seriously large. Just saying for the sake of two pieces of t...

Re: Dash cams?
Fitted one and powered it from the rear USB ports, be aware that you really need to remove the cover on the A pillar to feed the cable down, if you just tuck it across the top it may effect the airbag as it goes off . Getting the A pillar cover off is easy start with the trim below the dash first, t...

Re: 2015-2018 Macan Recall #ALA2
Just checked my 2016 GTS and it is on the recall list as well. Hardly anyone sits in the back so will wait for them to contact me on it.
