Re: Is the Sport/Chrono Option a Waste of Money? Discuss

Just reading this weeks Autocar and one of the articles came up with another good reason for having a pano roof at this time of the year. It will make it much easier to spot Santa and his slay in a few evening time. Almost sorry I didn't spec one in the 911 now  Yes and but it only works for ...

Re: S is on confuserator

I'm at £68k without even batting an eyelid. I simply replicated my existing S (I did add the Crayon and Miami Blue colour schemes though. They're the mutt's nutts). But...given I have a 2018 model with only 2,500 on the clock at the moment, I think I'll let someone else be the guinea pig...especial...

Re: Macan 2.0 T vs Macan S

I think it is WLTP that triggers changes in the engines. I am expecting the Macan to move to the base Panamera 3.0 single turbo engine for the Macan S (current S engine twin turbo) and the 2.9 V6 Twin Turbo for the Macan Turbo. what remains to be seen is whether there will be output and mpg differen...

Re: Macan 2.0 T vs Macan S

This week's Autocar, out Wednesday, has a new Macan driven article. I assume they went to the same press event in Spain as "Motorman" and may have driven S as well. All looking towards Porsche public announcement very soon; hopefully today. Read somewhere on here new 2.0 as better low down...

Re: Macan 2.0 T vs Macan S

I actually drove both an existing Petrol S and a 2.0T within the last 6 months as part of a decision about whether to wait for a facelift S or order one of the early facelift 2.0Ts. I did not notice any handling difference. I did notice a considerable difference in drivability and refinement. The 2....

Re: Electric Macan

Ah, I had assumed the E-tron was a ground-up effort, not a re-hashed platform. Actually I'm not 100% sure it is a re-hash. But it does have clues like a transmission tunnel in the rear rather than a flat floor. I could be wrong though. A quick check reveals that it's a development of the existing M...

Re: Sat Nav Frustrations...

This is not just an issue with Porsche/Audi mentioned so far. I have found the same with BMW's built in nav. Now my practice when in the West Country is to in advance decide the nearest main rd junction to my ultimate location and then choose a collection of main road waypoints to get me there I the...
