My OPC quoted a special price of £150 after they'd informed me my macan was slightly toeing out.
A local garage "lasered" mine for £60.
Nice cup of tea and biscuits while I waited as well.

Re: How to remove center wheel cap?
I use 2 steel meat skewers with the ends bent over about 80 degrees.
( I like the sound of the 2 small allen keys though....Didn't think of that.)

" Subaru loaner".
We had our first service combined with oil change today ( the computer had brought up both just short of 20000 miles.) All carried out to a lovely standard. Our loaner was a 718 boxster.... nearly impossible to get in and out of ( My fault ...arthritic knees.) But the sound...just like an old Subaru...

"Loaded with extras".
Doesn't this rather prove the point that many of these personal "Extras" become virtually worthless the minute you drive out of the showroom?

Re: Cruise Controls - unintuitive?
My salesman described it to me as push to go faster/ pull to go slower . Like the throttle pedal, which seems very intuitive to me.

Re: My Tesla 3 order
My Son has just ordered a Tesla 3 .(He lives in South Korea.)
He hopes to take delivery late 2018.
I did point out that there were about 580,000 on the waiting list...

Re: NFU Insurance
I'm with NFU and my rear end damage was superbly repaired by JCT 600 near Bradford. I'd bought my macan from JCT and wanted it to go back to them. NFU suggested them straight away. The only thing I hadn't realised was my Insurance only entitled me to a bog standard runaround. I was pleasantly surpri...

Re: What do you really think of Porsche?
I love my Porsche. I don't care that rain water drips on the dog when I open the boot I don't care about the water that trickles down the back of my neck when I lean into the rear door opening I don't care that I don't have a sunglasses holder in my seat-front I don't care that I have the older PCM...

Re: EV / Hybrid test drives.
Nice couple of reviews, although I would have been interested in an i8 review too.... Did you find out how much it costs in terms of leccy bills to charge an EV (i.e. what the monthly cost might be)? I was looking at the new Mini PHEV, and charging costs the other night. Google suggested 10p per KW...
