Re: M135i

I had two BMW loaners recently, a 320d and an X1. Both had the most horrible suspension that crashed violently on potholed roads and generally jarred and grated horribly. I couldn't wait to get back into a decently suspended Porsche. I had a 1 series for years. It's not the suspension, it's those g...

Re: Brexit

I wouldn’t believe a word that man says. What has the world come to, with a couple of clowns like Trump & Johnson in charge...  Sadly the alternatives (at least in the U.K.) are far, far worse [emoji15] 67.5m people in the UK and a somewhat disappointing selection of political leade...

Re: M135i

Yes, Nick, you and many other formum members were very helpful with my Macan queries. I see the posts every day but only comment where I can add something. New car design is very difficult to judge until we see it in the metal, so I'll reserve judgement for now on the proposed 4 series. I rather lik...

Re: M135i

How was your experience through Carwow? I am considering using them for my next car purchase. Like you said if you are getting a decent discount at the start then it can somewhat ease the depreciation. I am test driving the X3M Competition this coming weekend. Give it a go, nothing to lose, Car Wow...

Re: M135i

No, but the two things I think are horrendous on these beemers are the huge ugly grilles and the iPad stuck on the dash. Oh, there’s a third thing, the depreciation. Hope I haven’t offended anyone here......... Depreciation is always bad. I got a quote from Carwow for the X3M Competition and one de...

I considered doing so, but thought it may not be the right thing on a Macan forum. Anyway, will do.

Re: M135i

I wouldn't have posted about my new motor, but why not now there is a thread.............. I moved from my 3rd Porsche earlier this year to a Beemer. We wanted a convertible, and really tried to convince ourselves that a Boxster would be suitable, but definitely not all for long Euro drives, a 911 C...

Re: Dozens of annoying things about...

Totally agree about the absurd ‘look at me’ engine volume when starting the GTS. I DO NOT want my neighbours to be woken up when I try to sneak out early at 05.30. Is there no way of stopping this absurdity? Even the standard exhaust on my S was very loud on start up, but for only about 25/30 secon...

Re: GTS Values

WBAC sent me a text today informing me that the price for my GTS had increased since they priced my car at £45k on 3 Jun. Mar 17 plate, £67k purchase price, 9700 miles....... now offering £48,600 by txt. Am tempted to take it along and see if they offer the same ‘in the flesh”...... Just put my car...
