Re: Replacing Macan Tyre at porsche centre

Is 8 miles driving is normal? For new tyre testing and calibration? I never had such experience. Thx. The TPMS sensor can take many miles to reset themselves. After removing them to have my summer wheels re-furbished and painted (in VG) I noted that the sensors/senders were standard VW items. So wh...

Re: Gtechniq ceramic coating with PCP

Do you think its worth getting this done when I have purchased my Macan on a 4 year PCP deal? Given I don't intend to keep the car (probably beyond 2 years) is it worth it, will it help to maintain the value of the car through less stone chips and scratches or should I just save my money? I don't t...

Re: Hello - Looking to buy

The problem is finding one locally with 21" wheels and no PASM to try, they don't exist! Why restrict yourself to 'local'? I went over 400 miles to buy my Panamera, sight unseen. Most OPC's will deliver nationwide. Any wheel size can be changed by the dealer or yourself if that's what you want...

Re: Retro fitting a 7Kw charging circuit to a Panamera e-hybrid

Hi all, Not posted for a while but have been reading with interest. I'm selling my Macan Turbo and decided to have a Panamera Turbo S e-Hybrid (pic below if anyone is interested). It's a used car with the standard charging circuit (32 amps) but I've been trying to find out if I can upgrade it to a ...

Re: Build and Deliver

In your experience, does altering the spec before the freeze/lockdown date affect (delay) the delivery date i.e. each time you change it, do you go to the back of the queue? It should not. When I did a factory tour at Leipzig in May 2017, our group were told that the factory can & does change b...

Re: My Macan S impressions

This weekend I got back into my 435i, after two weeks of riding new Macan S. The Beemer felt like a racing machine: incredibly responsive, fast, precise and I guess familiar, as muscle memory kicked in! FWIW, I have just changed from my Panamera Hybrid (which followed 2 Macans) to a 440i convertibl...

Re: First Macan S

Although I have noticed a number other over aggressive drivers either wanting to run me off the road, cut me up, or just be unpleasant since I have been driving the Macan. Didn't get that in the X5! Anyone else get that in their Porsche? Could just be a Essex thing.......LOL I suspect its mostly an...

Re: Battery problems?

On the Macan, I plugged it into the boot 12v socket, while ignition was on, then ignition off and the socket stayed powered.

Re: Just got my macan 2L

I had the new 2.0 Macan as a loan car for over a week. I was not disappointed, although mpg was poorer than expected and its just £2400 less than an S, which is just a better engine to drive.

Re: Lake Como Trip.

The whole area is fantastic. If go through the hills from the top of Lake Maggiore to the western shore you can take your car by ferry from Mennagio to Bellagio, could be hard to park there though, perhaps lunch in the Metropole on their balcony overlooking the lake and ferry terminal. From there, t...
