Re: Seat belt warning

Update, talked to the dealer, they think it’s a fault with the sensors in the rear seats. It’s booked in for early January, they are very busy in the workshop and as it’s not a major problem that’s stopping me using the car, I didn’t push it. It’s in for two days, wonder what loan car I’ll get, last...

Re: Stop-sale on new car

Has the dealer said whether it’s only your car or all similar cars they have? Presumably they are part of a larger group of dealers, they should be able to tell you if any other cars within their group have been affected. This might help identify if it’s a one off problem with your car or something ...

Seat belt warning

I seem to have a problem with the rear seat belt warning indicator in my 4 month old GTS. I don’t often have rear seat passengers, but the last couple of times I have dropped off passengers by pulling up, letting them out and driving off again without turning off the car, as soon as I drive off the ...

Re: Macan seating position and seats

I’m on my second Macan, both my previous S and current GTS have the 18 way seats fitted and for me they are some of the most comfortable seat I’ve ever had in a car, long journeys are no problem. I’m 6’ 2” and average build and find them easy to adjust to a comfortable position. But seats are very p...

Re: Fuel consumption

My 3 month old GTS is better than my old S which had the 3L engine. Journey to/from Devon to Lincolnshire, mostly motorway or dual carriage averaged 31.5mpg cruising at reasonable motorway speeds. Around the country lanes in Devon it dropped to 19mpg. Just done a run on a similar mix of roads to Nor...

Re: 75 Ltr Tank

Back to the original topic of tank size, I believe the 65 litre tank originated as when they sold a diesel they had to find room for 10 litres of adblue, with a petrol engine this is not required so the option of using this space was to fit the 75 litre tank. I ordered it as a no cost option on my f...

Are you thinking of doing the tailpipes and wheels as well?

Noise from rear when unlocking

Just got a new GTS with air suspension. When I go to get in it in the morning after unlocking and as I open the drivers door, the wing mirrors fold open, and at the same time there is a whirring noise from somewhere near the rear of the car. Could it be the compressor for the air suspension and if s...

Re: Porsche Connect App

Just picked up my new GTS a couple of weeks ago, had previously downloaded the Connect app and had been sent a code to connect, sent the code to the dealer so they could set it all up. It doesn’t work at all, but they have offered a Masterclass on anything I want due to the limited Covid handover. I...
