Re: Front Brake Pad Replacement
thanks but yes I have tried all of that. Pads were new a 1000 miles or so and were OK for a while but to be honest I should really have changed the discs when I changed pads. Just to make of us gringe I bought the pads from OPC Edinburgh and even with discount they were close to £200. When I opened ...

Re: Front Brake Pad Replacement
I'm getting a vibration under braking which feels like a warped disc so I'm just about to order front discs (Brembo) and pads (Texstar OEM by Porsche) from Autodoc. - Total £200.95 inc delivery. We really are being screwed over by OPC and it's an easy fit. Will need new caliper bolts as they are sin...

Re: 4 yr/40,000 Service Queries
and it is a myth that you need special kit to do rear brakes. All you need to do is remove e-brake motor and push back the piston. It's simples! They do not wind back like VW/Audi even though it is a VW/Audi caliper (which is made by TRW)

Re: LED upgrade for the Halogen lights - A guide
Generally retrofit LED headlight bulbs are not E marked and so not legal for road use (it even says that on the packaging) so if noticed it could be an MOT failure - https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/blog/ ... in-the-uk/
Good luck

Re: Pads and discs
OK so I finally got round to doing rear discs and pads on my Macan GTS and it is very straightforward provided you do it in the correct way. So usual of jacking up rear and removing wheels. Turn ignition on and release EPB then switch off ignition. Parking brake will stay off. Remove wear connector ...
