Re: iPhone X

If I was coming from a Corsa to a Porsche I'd expect a serious improvement in both performance and quality which would make the change pretty compelling to most who can afford it. I can't say the same for upgrading an iPhone from the last few gens. I see the whole contract phone market as a complet...

Re: Mystery bump - any ideas?

There's some stuff here about removing the rear bumper here if you're feeling ambitious! I reckon you may have to do so if replacing the reflector.

Re: Mystery bump - any ideas?

Interesting to know the repair cost. If not using insurance, I'd be tempted to find the parts and fit myself. Probably get both 'used' for < £100. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOP-ORIG-Porsche-Macan-S-3-0L-250KW-Endrohr-aussen-LINKS-tail-pipe-outer-left-/152693496969?epid=1558896872&hash=item238d3...

Re: Comfort Entry

^ Perhaps your normal driving position has the wheel at its highest point and the seat all the way back already :)

Re: Porsche customer service

I wouldn't want mine washed, but I wouldn't want it back dirtier than when it went in!

Re: Tyre Pressure Monitor

Does anyone know if the TPM "valves" on each wheel "last for ever". I inflated all my tyres but the system still reads the old pressure. After a while the rear tyre pressures went up but the fronts remained at the old pressure. Maybe try selecting a different wheel/combination o...

That's interesting - mine are aluminium and I have a few problems with false alarms. I will see if it's better when I move back to UK and refit plastic plates.

Re: Remote option with Vodaphone Automotive

On my renewal I paid £99 for just the remote option! My insurer no longer needs the tracker and I quite like the geofence and other functions. When I move back to UK later this year I will be looking for UK insurance that doesn't need a tracker.

Re: Environment (Umwelt) Zone permit - Factory Collections

Long story but I collected my car from Porsche Mayfair and then drove to Bavaria Germany where I lived at the time. My umwelt sticker was obtained by my employer on my behalf. As I think I said in an earlier post the easiest and cheapest way to get hold of the sticker is to drive to a TUV-SUD Centre...
