Re: Worrying All Weathers comment from Porsche UK
I specified all seasons on my MY17 petrol S and when I took delivery there was a prominent sticker inside warning that speed should be kept below a certain figure because of tyre limitations. I immediately removed the sticker and can't remember what speed was quoted, but I think it was 140mph. Whate...

Re: Refill coolant
I had not received any warning messages but whilst my S was with OPC recently they carried out a 'health check' and reported coolant on minimum after 14 months and 10,000 miles. They topped up and checked for leaks, but found none. I'd never before had to top up coolant on any car, so was a bit sur...

Re: Can't resist stating the obvious
At the back end the four round tail pipes look purposeful, as they indeed are, Agree that they look good, but only the 2 outside ones seem to be connected to the exhaust system, the 2 inner ones appear to be dummies. I'm pretty sure all four tailpipes on my S are connected. I mentioned in passing t...

Re: Engine knocking at idle
My Sept ‘16 GTS has done 14000 miles and has no such noise at idle. What I do have is a soft “ sigh” at idle and low speed manoeuvres which sound a bit PAS related. Same here, no probs with the engine. However, I do have the "sigh" at low speed. Definitely PAS-related as it only happens w...

Re: Macan 2.0 T vs Macan S
If you're looking to stick to a budget you probably don't specify 21" wheels. The ride will be much better on smaller wheels and steel suspension. Some people like PS+ and some don't. I don't, even with big wheels. I agree. I was recently loaned an SD with air and PASM on 21 inch whilst my S w...

Re: Macan GTS Steering Wheel Squeak
To resurrect the subject - was this fix successful (or anybody else?) Mine has now also developed a bit of a whistful sigh (as opposed to a proper squeak) when low speed manoeuvring / parking
Mine had the "wistful sigh" when manoeuvering at low speed from new in Sept 2016...
