Re: Price increase.
Out of interest, does anyone know the official Porsche line? Ie are dealers swallowing the increase for existing orders themselves? Only Tonbridge OPC is claiming we have to pay the increase despite deposit and order going down in August for Macan S. Just wondering what room I have to argue with them?

Re: Gen 3 Insurance
I know where I live has a large part to play, my previous address had a reduction of £400 a year vs my current address, with the change of location being the only difference. Yeh surely must be location making that price so high. I ran a quote with Admiral for my wife whose car it’ll be (mid 30s, 7...

Re: Gen 3 Insurance
I did a quote on the Gen2 turbo to see a ballpark before ordering the Gen3 GTS... £1450 for the year so that's around what I'm expecting. Late 30's, protected no claims, 7k miles a year, parked on drive, tracker, SDP+C, including legal. My son has a 30th Anniversary MX5. Its only 2ltr but I bought ...

Re: New member saying Hi and help!!!
 There’s definitely cheaper options. I’ve found alloy and tyre cover for circa £510 for 3 years total - this covers the diamond cut alloys and N rated tyres too. OPC policies will always be more expensive so worth shopping around. Thanks. Can you say where? Should be getting my S in about 4...

Re: GTS build dates
What happens if you switch from a gts to an S, do you go back to the bottom of the S queue? I ordered in July but if gts is going to take forever then may be worth the swap. I would think you'd absolutely get the next S You could probably get Omni's S if you fancied that. GTS customers are up the f...

Re: Car Waiting at Emden
I’m in the same boat (pardon the pun!!) in that my Gen 2 GTS has been at the port for about 10 days now. OPC doesn’t know when it will hit the water but have shared screen shots with me so I can see it’s built with a chassis number etc. Hopefully both cars arrive soon. I just spoken to the dealer a...

Re: Gen 3 Insurance
 Sadly not. Definitely not on line. I haven’t found a single company that lists them, and I’ve tried all the main stream ones and as many “specialists” as I can find. I’m currently with Admiral on a multi car. When you log into your policy, you can do a “change car” quote and the new Macan S w...

Re: Porsche slow to BEV Macan
Imagine it would have to be more at the top end of pricing given the Macan will be viewed as a more sporting BEV compared to the iX especially if it takes the Turbo tag like the Taycan? Perhaps once they discontinue ICE versions, lower powered offerings will appear more in line pricing wise with BMW...
